Hello, my name is Julie Thomas. I am so happy to finally have my own internet "home". I have been dabbling in crafts forever, or so it seems. I've done everything from quilting to papier mache. I have finally found my niche in fabric art, but occasionally still like to make a santa or two from papier mache.
I am married and have two growing boys. My husband is in the Army which requires us to move every two to three years, so having a web site is a nice kind of "permanent residence" for me. Nowadays you see patriotism in every corner of the world and I try to use that as the inspiration in much of my work. Living such a fast paced life also requires a great sense of humor so I try to put some whimsicality into many of my items also. I do alot of antiquing and flea marketing to find great items for my home and my work. Because of this I am not always able to offer the same item twice.
